Official Rules and Regulations

1.) This promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. No purchase of membership or contribution is required.

2.) Eligibility: Employees, board members and paid agents of Equality Florida, their immediate family members, and persons living in the same household as such individuals, are not eligible to win.

3.) How to Enter. All members who join EQFL between August 14, 2006, and September 16, 2006, will be automatically entered to win. The suggested membership donation is $35 or more. Only one entry per person. Memberships may be purchased online at www.eqfl.org or by calling 813-817-6093. Memberships purchased at Night of 1000 Dinners events on 9/9 or 9/16 must be returned to Equality Florida by September 23. Gifts are not tax deductible. Make checks payable to Equality Florida.

Membership or contribution is not required for entry. To receive a no-membership/no-contribution entry, requests must be received in writing no later than September 16, 2006, accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope. Please include Your Name, Address, Phone Number and E-mail Address. Request should be sent via US Mail to Equality Florida, PO Box 13184, St. Petersburg, FL 33733. One entry per person.

4.) Drawing. The prize is an R Family Vacations Caribbean Cruise for four people, donated by EQFL Florida Council Member Ed Alvut. The Cruise is February 18-25, 2007, and departs from Miami. Winner will NOT be required to pay port taxes, government fees and gratuities of $300 per person, but must provide own transportation to Miami and pay for optional port excursions, bar charges, and spa services. All proceeds will go toward Equality Florida’s advocacy and education work. The public drawing will be held on Friday, October 6, 2006, at the 3150 5th Ave North, Suite 325, St. Petersburg FL 33713 at 2:00 p.m. Winner need not be present to win. Entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions rendered.

5.) General Conditions. Prize winner will be notified by telephone at the phone number provided and/or by email at the email address provided.

By participating in this contest, all persons accepting a prize, so long as there are no legal prohibitions, agrees to the use of his/her name, address, photograph, videotape or any likeness for advertising or publicity purposes, and to the use of statements made by or attributed to the prizewinner relating to Equality Florida and releases any and all rights to said use without further compensation. Void where prohibited by law.

6.) Release of Liability. All entrants release Equality Florida and its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents, and employees and all others associated with the development and execution of this Raffle from any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this Raffle and/or acceptance or use of the prize, including liability for personal injury, death, damages, or loss.

Equality Florida is not responsible for prize quality. Equality Florida is not responsible once the prize has been conveyed or delivered to the winner.

Equality Florida is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by computer users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Raffle. Equality Florida assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communication line failures, theft, or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alterations of, entries.

7.) Winner’s List. The winner’s name will be posted to the website of Equality Florida, Inc. at www.eqfl.org within 14 days following notification to the winner.
